"Selected Program Notes from the Retrospective Exhibition of Theresa Rosenberg Latimer", which appears in both
- Clockwork Phoenix 4, pp. 199-209 (Mike Allen, ed., Mythic Delirium Books)(2013),
My other eligible stories:
- "Life of the Author Plus Seventy", Analog Science Fiction & Fact, pp. 53-61 (September, 2013)
- "Hear the Enemy, My Daughter", Strange Horizons (May 6, 2013)
I've never singled out one story before (except when asked), and I feel funny about doing it this time. But "Selected Program Notes" has received more positive attention and praise than any other story I've written, ever. It also does one or two things that are maybe, arguably "innovative". I'm uncomfortable because this feels like bragging, but I think I can honestly say that this one stands out.
If you're curious, I'll happily send individual copies of "Selected Program Notes". Send me a message via LiveJournal, Facebook, or Twitter, including your e-mail address and the file format you prefer (I have EPUB, MOBI, PDF, RTF, and DOC). Or you could buy a copy of Clockwork Phoenix 4, which would make time_shark happy, and then you'd get to see all the other amazing stories in it. Or you could listen to Peter's beautiful reading on Podcastle.
